1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
Maison du Cap is a guesthouse situated in Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa. It operates within the Hospitality Industry and provides accommodation and breakfast for paying customers.
2. Return and Refunds policy
If cancellation is made by a customer 7 days before their scheduled visit, they will receive a 50% refund of the full amount owed to the property. Should the customer cancel 6 days before their scheduled visit, they will receive no refund. If a booking is cancelled by Maison du Cap for any reason the guest will receive a full refund, 7 days after that cancellation.
Maison du Cap shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of customers. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall mean the same as that found in Chapter 1 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 4. Accepted payment methods
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or EFT.
5. Card details and security
Card transactions will be conducted for Maison du Cap via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to to view their security certificate and security policy. Customer details separate will be store separately from their card details.
6. Domicile of Maison du Cap
Maison du Cap is domiciled in the Republic of South Africa and as such, this website is governed by the laws of South Africa. Maison du Cap chooses South Africa as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, in respect of all potential legal proceedings. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder as such is South Africa. Transaction currency is the South African Rand (ZAR).
Maison du Cap takes responsibility for aspects relating of the transaction including the sale of services sold on this website and customer service and support in lieu of services bought on this website. Maison du Cap does not take responsibility for any losses incurred as a result of a fraudulent website or link baring our name. We further do not accept responsibility for any losses of corporeal or non-corporeal items during a customers’ stay at our facilities. We do not accept responsibility for any injuries sustained on our premises. Customers use premises at their own risk.
Maison du Cap may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
